The poem describes Sierra Leone as a land with abundant natural resources, including agriculture, fishery, tourism, minerals, and trade opportunities through membership in regional organizations. It also mentions the country's desire for investment to boost economic growth and development.

Sierra Leone, a land of endless opportunity,
Where agriculture thrives in fields of verdant green,
Where fishery resources flourish in the sea,
Where tourism flourishes in a world unseen.

A land where minerals, gold and diamonds shine,
A land where bauxite and ilmenite are found,
A land where light industries do refine,
Raw materials that can be turned around.

A land that offers access to markets large,
Through membership in the Mano River Union,
And in the Economic Community in charge,
Of trade between West African nations.

A land that seeks investment to ignite,
Economic growth and development, day and night.

West Africa truly needs to use its resources wisely and pull itself up by the bootstraps of its wonderful people in order for everyone to thrive. I won't be traveling there at my age and condition anymore, but like Liberia, Ghana and other countries, there is a rich history that people will want to come and see, along with cultural amenities and food.
