Happy Birth Day
The cherry blossoms ----
Are already blooming.
They’re out everywhere,
Beautiful, and reassuring.
But even they are not as beautiful
And assuring as you are.
You’ve become my friend,
My closest companion.
Yet, I never expected
It’ll come to this—
Grandeur of beauty and bloom.
As the cherry blossoms,
So you are---
But, you’re more than that.
You crystallize both
The good and bad in me.
In spite of it all,
You stand beautiful inside & out.
Only you enrich my life
With so much joy & love.
I never treasured a love,
And companionship,
The way I do yours.
Because you’re honest,
Though, you could be negative
And erratic sometimes
Yet, your heart is pure,
And your intentions good.
Happy Birth Day, my lotus
You’ve definitely come a long way
And you deserve----
You deserve to be loved,
And appreciated---
Like the cherry blossoms you’re.
