After morning dew leaves the last blade of grass
After wind dissipates and branches resume their places
After the sun disappears below that familiar line
After the moon rises to meet all who share love
After the stars resume their appointed alignment
Will you be there for me?

After babies become toddlers and learn to walk
After children become teens and learn to decide
After teens become lovers and learn to love
After the young become old and discover life’s answers
After the old become young again and share wisdom
Will you still care for me?

After neighbors no longer argue and become friends
After nations cease war and become allies
After hatred surrenders its cancer on the world
After love reigns supreme on this planet
After all become children of God
Will you still believe in me?

After lies cease to increase doubt and suspicion
After illness consumes healthy tissue and renders life useless
After love dies and trust fades into nothingness
After all believers find their final resting place
After lessons are learned and insight infuses our consciousness
Will you still call me lover?

Lovely and good and religiously wrote. Hoping all will find their savior and we all will be together in eternity. I am with you all the way here on this one.

This is very intense, which is always a good thing. Very, very well-done.
