Absolutely lovely, Diana, and it is filled with descriptive beauty throughout. My favorite lines are: "this bounty for free,"A feast for the eyes," and "a glow fills my heart." In the first three verses, you tell us all the beauty you see, and then you end it all by telling us how the loveliness of the night makes you feel and your appreciation of it all. So well done, my dear friend.

I was just thinking how surreal it would be to do a long hike at night. But the forecast is brutally cold.
