Where does it come from, this desire for kink? Where from our lives, do we find the link? Many say its not normal, to tie and to bind, Why not I do ask, from some place in my mind Many use part of the life with their love They know not there's a name for that stuff Were they to be told, deny it they would For to them it is bad, or so they've been told Lucky are they who find out young For they have the luxury of time There are many who find out later Many never find out at all Where does it come from, this need and desire Deep down inside is where resides the fire That need for more than just the basics The desire for love so deep and so true Those from vanilla they have that need Sadly most of them do not find what we have Why is that you ask, as they do too The reason dear friends is not that hard Not that awkward to grasp It is just that our life demands, more of us all From negotiations, and talks, the love and the trust The honour and respect, the passion and lust All those things that relations of all kinds should possess We have so much more than others could know But this is not saying from whence did it come Do we really know, can we really say? Not easily can words describe our ways All we know is that we, in love and desire Need more than a tickle or light pat on the rear The flogger, the crop, the whip (oh yes, dear!) The need for control, out of love not from fear The need to be controlled by one we hold dear Ritual, for some, is the spice that's desired For others the scene, with costume and set For some it's the mind games, they love and adore For others it's age play from AB to Teen For each there's a style, a kink to enjoy You don't need to be stuck with only one kink Just figure out what makes you hot and/or wet The mix and match, find what you like Guys, gals, either or both Just you and one other, maybe three, four or more Is it the thought of the toys, the flogger and crop? Does the paddle and bench make you bend and squirm? How do you feel, what makes you firm? That is our lifestyle, our love and our kink Still we know not where enters the kink We don't bother too much to locate the link All we do is enjoy what we call kink

Lifestyles are lifestyles, and I concur with you basically with your premise . . . I am a conservative thinker, with a wild-ass past . . . In simpler days, the kinky, as you put it, took their pleasures out behind the barn, to use a metaphor, in other words they did what they did and didn't go around bragging about it . . . Times have changed, of course, what even I in my heyday of the sixties and seventies, would have thought unthinkable is happening on our streets, in our schools, in our theaters and movies . . . There is no bad anymore, and although you seem to think everyone looks down on you, I basically imagine the people around you are much like me, do what you wanna and leave me alone and we will get along wonderfully. I sense a bogus affinity for someone to blame for your lifestyle, although I am certain that in the past you probably have had trouble . . . Be yourself . . . Don't look for trouble and nine out of ten times their won't be any . . .
