A Contrarian Poem to the poem JUST FOR TODAY, By Sybyl Partidge 1916

Just For Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow Just for yesterday, may I remember the lessons of the past. So that I may have a better today Just for yesterday may I let go of the past so that I can be free to live more fully today Just for Tomorrow may I plan So that today I will have direction in life Just for Tomorrow, may I look upon it with excitement, and joy... So that I will live happy today Just for today may I remember the good, and profit from the losses of yesterday So that today I live with peace and serenity Just for today may I do the tasks that ensure tomorrow will be bright, and today fulfilling Just for Today May I have the wisdom to know that Today is yesterday’s tomorrow, the willingness to accept the gift that God has given me today, and the courage to live it, by being the best me there is Amen Carlo John Palmieri .Tuchy Palmieri May 30 2008 www.healinghabits.com http://tinyurl.com/4x5oh66

Great write Tuchy,and it is very thought provoking in that it tells me that everyday,yesterday, today,and tomorrow, are intricately connected,and because this is so, we must remember the connectedness daily to get the most from each day. Thanks for sharing.

Amen to this Tuchy! Many of us are idle and allow time to slip through our fingers. What everyone of us need to do is to accept each day God gives to us and live it to the fullest. We should never forget that all things are possible when God is in control. We're blessed with many talents and all we need to do is to use them to the best of our abilities.

Time...God gave us time and with it life and choices, some go through it constructively others sit there looking at the sand in their hourglass running, filling the lower end and emtying the begining.
Those last ones are ungrateful of the gift they got.
