They were so happy,
When they looked in each others eyes,

They never expected there to be a tragedy,
While they were together life was magic.
Like the night they came home from the prom,
And he sang her that song,
That captured her heart and took her away.
Along the summer winds to their dieing day.
The sun sets behind the horizon,
And the stars again ablaze.
In his eyes she’ll loose her gaze.
They loved each other with all their hearts,
And hoped that they would never part.
But they knew from the start,
That they were not prefect,
But it would all be worth it,
In the end.
His touch was soft and gentle,
Her face was like a dream,
Their love was a heavenly sent,
Like whispers on a breeze.
The moon shines through the trees,
Casting shadows upon there faces,
Love will take them to another place.
She loved him, he loved her,
They knew they were ready for this world.
He got on one knee, asking her “Merry me please?”
She took his hand, told him I can’t,
I’m just not ready for this right now,
He said that’s okay,
We’ll have another day,
The futures ahead of us still.
But over the years, she shed empty tears,
And their love began to fade.
Playing only a masquerade.
And then one night they went for a drive,
A silence in the car made them wonder why,
When through the wind shield they saw,
A blinding light leaving them in awe.
A collision, a deafening noise.
They were gone.
The funeral was a sad one,
There was no sun,
A new life for them now begun.
The coffins now lowered into the ground,
Together they lay,
