The words goodbye to thee and thine,
Still linger here, upon my mind.
The departed now walk their separate ways
Solemn as if a death march to eternal damnation.
Goodbye to thee and thine
We were once a pair, our whispers caught between the night air,
That now ascend to the saffron stars
And what once was ours, have become my scars.
These tired eyes can cry no more
My thoughts are what I deeply deplore.
So now my departed, I hope your not faint hearted
As for thee, I was not meant to be.
Though your ears are too far away,
I whisper my goodbyes to thee and thine.
i have received recent letters in the mail, all of which say that this particular poem was selected for publication. My biggest accomplishment yet.

Poetry that evolves in on itself will self destruct when put to the test. Flowing outwardly not inwardly toward the writer. You are making a good effort. Now try to just put you pen on paper and let it flow and flow and flow. You will be amazed. Bill Murray ((Hugs))
