Life is...
the deadliest game
we can't escape
it's pain
Nor can we remain
the same
In it's ever changing
seasons of light
and diffusion
bathes us in happiness
and also confusion
emotions run high
like an elixir
we can almost
reach the sky
Then Life...
drops us like a bomb
through the centre
of the earth
left lying in the dark
embalmed in a tomb
or some ceremonial burial
Ready for the proverbial
Rebirth
For Life is a gamble
for what it is worth.
This is very well crafted! None of us have a rule book, so we do the best we can. I think the key is how well we connect with others, that's why communication is an elemental force.
I can't prove it, but I think that trying to "win the game" by stepping on others brings bad Karma.
It is a one way trip...filled with lots of loss and pain along the way. Hopefully we learn and grow from it.

I agree with Paul. Good planning gets us to where we need to be, in spite of ourselves. Nicely written work. Bravo.
Perhaps "..Quiet Storm" will help rekindle old flames buried and long forgotten or express the love so deeply locked inside of your soul longing to be released.
