Remind me, The way of the wind The tongue of the trees In subtle union Embrace me, For I have strayed Gather my leaves To my breast Only to fall at my feet And run away Left the bare essence of me Somewhat less but still standing Spread my arms to catch the sun.

You have a concise, telling style that speaks a forest of meaning to the reader. I particularly like the ending for this time of year: "Left the bare essence of me

Somewhat less but still standing

Spread my arms to catch

the sun."
