The dust blew onto me

The dust blew onto me like rain.
I wondered how many souls
Had just touch me.
Someone’s father, a son, a woman’s daughter.
I let them light on me and feed their wisdom
Of the past and
The things they’ve seen as they traverse the Earth.

A very sensitive, heartfelt piece. Like the smoke billowing out of the twin towers filed with so many innocent spirits.....
