A Cool Night

A cool night fit for song and dance followed the toying warm day.
I constantly thought of you, our life together
And dreams that I weigh.
A cooling, sexy night, a full sky-caressing moon and doused, sprayed clouds.
A dimly lit night sky boasting mood-enhancing stars,
Whispering in windy voices so loud.
A warm day that thoughts consumed.
A Picasso styled morn predicting
A Divinci like, full, orange Badu moon.
Glowing, shadowy objects of ravenous passion blow dead Autumn-painted leaves fro.
My swirling mind studies and wanders, my mind ponders,
Following my heart, my mind go.
The quiet diluted noise of reddened, playful children blows by.
The noisy quiet of massaging wind
In my searching eye.
A blinding shade of a dusty shadow.
I sit as still as the past as my wandering mind go.
Create creations as awing and as powerful as the sun.
Create oil and pastel colorful words
As the wet daylight on an atmospheric canvas runs
Into the waiting arms of the West as the sleeping East turns blue.
It’s the coming dawn of a cool, breezy night
As Autumn so colorfully do.
A cool night blackening a lit town.
A cool night quickly growing colder
Does nature’s bidding to astound.
Astound all of me now, make me wake up and see the night.
Awe me now and again.
A cool night in full light.
Don’t ever think on the moon’s mysteriously never seen, hidden dark side.
Never think of your own secrets
But portray grand pride.
Dreams come to life with a cool night.
Dream of love, dream of warmth,
Think of life-inducing light.
Hold a lover or your breath.
Kiss a child or breathe deeply stealth.
Dreams of things to be.
A cool night makes souls agree
That the best things are intangibles we see.
