soft kiss catching...

Three Parts: A Poem

Weightless

While I, invisible,
floating or sinking,
inhale the sky
While I, invisible - this,
like Lamb’s ear; soft kiss
catching
every puff of wind.
Field after field,
weightless,
ruby feathered falling...
Away from the blurry edge
this quietly lifts
in timelessness;these
once-in-a-while
downy tufts, Cottonwood
While I, invisible,
floating or sinking,
inhale the sky

Distant Stars

Neither rocks,
stones, trees,
nor even earth
has enough gravity
to keep me . . .
Bright, glittering -
I brace my wings
on distant stars;
this garment,
the filament
of my silhouette,
on this rising moon

Wandering

Simply stars
in windfall light;
Snow, softly
and slowly cascades -
wandering white
from appleless boughs;
The moon, longing

Even though written in a series of three each poem touches upon the other and thus your thoughts are incorporated within each and the other...very nice...

Beautiful write my friend, much going on in this poem...loved the imagery, awakens one's senses and emotions. I have a flower in one of my flower gardens that is called a lambs ear...it is almost as soft as the real thing...I had to go back and read this again...loved the lines about the rocks and trees...thought of a soft spirit floating toward heaven...beautiful my friend, simply divine.
Blessings,
Joyce Bowling

Through the Amazon by S. Oliver Eldridge

The drug called "The Shari" has been used for vision quests over many years. But, when all the rivers start drying up, the tribe must send a young hunter named Tomás on a much more important trip through the Amazon.
