Sorrow.

Poem Artwork

If screaming was a way to get out sorrows,

the likes that ache of Melancholy  ill,

the one from me would last for all tomorrows,

and NEVER would I hear a silent still.

ISN'T IT...COMFORTING...TO KNOW THAT 'TROUBLES' DON'T LAST ALWAYS? WEEPING DOES ENDURE FOR A NIGHT(NOW THE LENGTH OF EVERYONE'S 'NIGHT' DIFFERS)BUT, IF WE ALLOW IT...'JOY' COMES IN THE MORNING. WHAT A GREAT SHARING...SO MUCH REVEALED AND SHARED IN SO FEW WORDS. THANK YOU FOR SHARING, KAY. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS+INSPIRATIONS.

Primal screaming was once touted as a way of psychological healing. I haven't heard much about it lately.

But your poem seems so personal. Since I don't know what all those sorrows are. But from what I've read, they are many for you and a real burden.

Poetry is a way to let it out.

I do hope this is not the way you truly feel, my dear friend, because you are far too kindhearted and caring to do so.
the poem itself is excellent, as your poetry invariably is.
And it always amazes me how you can write so much in so few lines, it is a talent I have never been able to master, though believe me I have tried.

Please be happy Kay, my dear friend, you really do deserve to be.

From your Pommie Pal,
Steve.
