The greatest story ever told
Is one we hear from days of old.
It tells of One who loves us dear,
Of One whose presence is so near.

This One's the true and living God,
The way He made so many trod
Because He gives to those in sin,
New life, new hope, new peace within.

He gives His love so glad and free
With this request, "Come unto me"
And when we do, He's always there,
To lead, direct and show His care.

Yes, God is love and those who know
Him share this love where 'er they go
Because it's real, and fills the heart
With joy that never will depart.

If you know God and He abides
Within your heart, you'll never hide
The wondrous love He's given you,
Because somehow, it shines right through!
