To A Special Sister

Sister, you're special each day of the year,
You share lots of love and plenty of cheer-
Of course, there are times we may not agree,
But love is the bond between you and me!

When life becomes hard I always can find
That, Sister, you'll do your best to be kind-
You offer an ear to hear my distress,
And never will leave without a caress!

Your soft spoken words encourage and bring
A song to my heart to which I can cling-
You know the answer will come by and by
To help me endure, if only I'll try!

I cannot begin to thank you enough
For being around when times are so rough-
Not only my sister, you are my friend,
And always someone on whom I depend!

This is my gesture of letting you know,
That come good or bad, I do love you so-
And wish you God's best for all of your days,
You are so special in so many ways!
