A long lived grief ...

Sometimes I cry

because my loved ones died.

Sometimes I laugh

and I don't know why.

Where is that one who will know as I do

what we all went through?

Or do I remain alone, for all time

to smuggle grief through?

Because it can never happen again.

that my loved ones live,

where their vanishing spirits ran,

and no mercy lingers to give.

No.

I said "No."

and I cried.

"No."

Live.

And Jesus,

you are alive.

Brutally honest - having lost my Daddy on May 28, I know the pain all too well - does it ever get any easier? Well done, and I'm sorry for your loss -

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

It's a sad thing to lose someone you love. You can only hope they're in a better place. And I'm sure they would want you to move on. Beautiful poem

Mary

Say Something Terrorible v3 by RickthePoetWarrior

My mom says ‘If you can’t say anything nice then don’t say anything’. Sorry mom but under the guise of poetic license I penned these beauties.

You Look FatCalgary by RickthePoetWarrior

Using Calgary as a backdrop the author satirizes the self-serving nature of the public as it continues to fatten itself, not only physically, but egotistically as well.
