Crossin' All the Way

Sitting on a bridge with my feet hanging over
Thinking of where I've been and I'm so glad its over
I don't have too far to go to reach the other side
So why am I still sitting here, there's nothing left to decide

I could tell you stories about what I've seen and done
But the sadness that they'd bring I don't wish on anyone
'Cause then I heard a voice call out He said 'leave it all behind'
So I've taken that first step and made up my mind

Hanging on to the rails I see water rushing under

But I won't dare shut my eyes`cause then I can't see
The cross on the other side beckoning me

Step by step well I'm almost there
I see cracks in the bridge so I must beware
Oh lord what if I can't follow through with this plan
He said 'don't worry my child, just reach out and take my hand'
