She Won't Turn Away

Well it took her all day to think of an excuse to tell him she's not going to make it
And its taken all her life just to realize she's not going to take it
Sometimes this life just seems so hard to live
Sometimes it asks her for more than she has to give
But she won't turn away

Well this last one knocked her for a loop
She just didn't see it coming
And if it were anyone else it would have sent them off and running

Though her body was healthy she was shattered from within
Couldn't take that abuse time and time again
She desired to leave, but somehow she remained
And she called out to God in the middle of her pain
And He didn't turn away
No God didn't turn away
