The Comforter is here
Bringing victory over sin and fear
The Comforter is here
And in the name of Jesus the works of Satan must disappear

I hear a knock on the door of my heart
Just when my world is falling a part
As I swing open the door I see my Lord Jesus looking at me

I was surprised by the look on His face
Couldn't He see my life was such a disgrace
But with eyes so loving and tender He said child just remember
The Comforter I sent to take my place

Like an unopen gift He awaits
Each child of God has the right to receive Him in faith
The Holy Ghost in truth and power
He is our hightower
Yeah, that's the Comforter He sent to take His place

Freely He has given so freely receive
He is the same spirit that caused you to say "I Believe!"
