This poem is dedicated to a young boy who past away at a school where I taught 4k.

You were here but for a while. Then God looked down at you and smiled. And called you to heaven to do your part, knowing the sadness that would be in our hearts.

You are in peace, but we are in pain. What a joyful spirt for heaven to gain!  We go on, but can't forget your smile, or how bright you were for a little child.

An angel given wings to fly, yet we can't help but to sit and cry. By faith we know we will see you again, because this is your beginning and not your end.

Always difficult to comprehend the death of children, their short life only beginning, but in God's kingdom they reign. Though short lived I am sure his light touched many. So heartbreaking, yet inspirational too.

Be always safe,
Karen

Nothing is so sorrowful as the death of a child. May he rest in heaven. Your poem does him great honor.
