Evolution of My Invisibility
It has come as quite a shock,
Yet perhaps I should have seen,
The evolution of my invisibility,
And exactly what it means.
While strangely liberating,
My condition demands a pause.
How the hell did my actions,
Suspend Newton’s Laws?
Were my choices inadvertent,
Or quite purposeful in deed?
Did I fulfill a destiny,
Or fall victim to a need?
This state has left me feeling,
Admittedly contemplative.
Shall I use this power for good?
Or “F*ck It”, and get creative?
Is this invisibility,
Merely a state of mind?
Or should it be considered,
A reprieve from ties that bind?
Were I to have more substance,
And resultant choice to take,
Would I be more substantial,
Or increasingly opaque?
