What would you do if you knew the outcome in advance?

If Love’s Hindsight Were Foresight

If love’s hindsight were foresight,
Would you still take the chance?
Presume each memory,
Worth preordained penance?

Would you endure fated pain,
Deliberately choose not to see?
Ignore precognizance,
Perpetuate belief in a "we"?

Would you wholeheartedly commit,
To a knowingly damned endgame?
Exalt temporal emotion,
Endure resultant blame?

Would you indulge the fantasy,
Of a future still yours to decide?
Aware the price of delusion,
Was your heart, soul and pride?

Knowing the monster that hides under the mask, I would save my love for me. For true love should be worn on a sleeve, hence no need to know the future for you will know that it was TRUE. What is true never has a price and always worth the strife. Thank you for sharing. Be Well. Carin

Excellent Question
