Inspired by Denise Edward's "This World of Ours".  I loved her write but did not share her sentiment.  Her poem was the basis for the below - A modified plagarism to which I admit - I just wanted to try out the style - and Denise - the content was very effective.  Apologies for not a complete original but Denise's poem was very inspirational. 

 

Alone in Our Togetherness

 Alone in our togetherness 

Words are insufficient to describe

These feelings 

Of wanting and needing

Pursuit of illicit passion

Kiss me before I starve

Love me before we are judged

Your eyes ensnare 

You hands negate my invisibility

Passion ignites without regard

I share with you the taste of laughter

You are desire within my night

You bring me completeness

I’m tranquil within your embrace

The power of some over none

Alone in our togetherness

In this world of ours no one else sees
