A dark sinister piece I wrote while waking up one morning. Titled: Today because we all have a (today) coming soon.

I’m the shell of a man,

a demon in disguise.

I’ve fallen from above,

but from the fires I shall rise

to strike fear into the world

and set it afire –

I’m a thief in the night,

a soul collector and liar.

I was born from total darkness,

raised to hate the light;

I am death by many names;

you’re my enemy to fight.

So say farewell to those you love,

you’ll never see them again:

I’m a destroyer of worlds,

and yours is at its end.

So pray all you want;

it’ll do you little good.

Cower before me,

fear me, for you should:

I’m the executioner

the great taker of lives

and sadly, today

is the day you die.

Inherent Chaos by Terry Vinson

The fortunate inherit riches, prestige, positive notoriety. Those not so lucky bear legacies filled with poverty, infamy or, worse yet, the unhinged insanity and murderous urges of their ancestors.
