Some reflections regarding lent.

Walking - just walking

Trees with wondrous blossoms

Trees empty yet reflecting a simple beauty

as they appear with their inner truth

Contraditions? Maybe not

Letting our false self sripped

of hate,prejudice,wanting to be

important, and addictions

We see are true self

We have an ache in our heart

We want to hide from our weaknesses

Yet we have this desire to

see ourselves as we are

We look deeper and we

reach the root of our longing

We reach the deepest seed

which was present at our birth

Jesus! He smiles and whispers

Don't worry my beloved

Yes you are fully visable

to me and I know your weaknesses

Yet i see the sacred and holy

child born many years ago

I see the the eternal light

of my love shining bright

within your heart and soul

Go now and show the

wondrous light of my love

A light which the world

longs to see and hear

Will you shine my light?

Oh yes Jesus!

Even with my fearful heart

I will shine the light you have

given me as a sacred gift

Slowly the blossoms of faith

begin to grow

One blossom at a time until

there's a garden of glorious trees

of love and forgiveness

singing it's song of joy!

Trees showing their wondrous blossoms

Trees empty and naked to God

Lenten journey
