There's a lot to be said
about worn, fittin' shoes.
If you've never dawned them,
My words aren't for you.
Taken from life-page-strangers,
and sometimes friends.
To enlighten open-minded folks,
who are tryin; to "learn-in."
Their life-journey's have been hard,
with daunting obstacles and all.
My words, meant for shared-thinkers,
to help prevent falls.
You can choose to go 'round,
with your nose in the air,
Mistreatin' differences,
denyin' others' despair.
Their emptiness and pain
of candid, life-curse.
Your closed mind feeds emptiness,
Your critical heart, even worse.
I'm not askin' for miracles.
Don't expect you to change.
My words, so candid,
At best, you find strange.
The Voice of Expression
to these dream-troubled souls,
reaches out, bringing closure,
that helps work toward goals.
