How much forgiveness can a heart withstand before it bursts?
Veins and vessels carry blood-laden memories that
come spilling out of the body,
onto the ground,
and trampled just one more time
as "the forgiven" take liberties,
piercing, kicking, and rupturing the main artery
of "the forgiver's" soul.
No cash,
No jewels,
No flowers,
No salty-kisses, sweet
can heal the betrayed one's spirit.
How much forgiveness can a heart withstand before it bursts?

WHEN JESUS ANSWERED THE QUESTION, 'HOW MANY TIMES SHOULD A MAN FORGIVE?' WITH THE ANSWER, '7 TIMES 70' IT SHOULD BE UNDERSTOOD THAT
WITHOUT CHRIST WE CANNOT DO THIS. THE BIBLE SAYS, 'I CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST' AND IT ALSO SAYS, '...THE LIFE THAT I NOW LIVE...CHRIST IN ME LIVES IT'. THIS MEANS THAT WE, OF OURSELVES CANNOT CONTINUOUSLY FORGIVE, BUT JESUS CHRIST IN US...CAN. IT IS NOT EASY...JUST LIKE HIS COMMAND NOT TO FIGHT BACK BUT,'TURN THE OTHER CHEEK SO IT TOO CAN BE SLAPPED', IS NOT EASY. BUT GOD WOULD NOT COMMAND US TO DO ANYTHING THAT WAS NOT POSSIBLE. WE KEEP ON FORGIVING BRYNN...DISTANCING OURSELVES AS BEST AS WE CAN(FEEDING THEM WITH A LONG HANDLED SPOON)AND 'TRUSTING'IN GOD THAT HE WILL
'BUILD A FENCE ALL AROUND US EVERY DAY.' NOW, I KNOW THAT IT HURTS...SURE IT DOES AND WE WONDER WHY? BUT THAT'S WHEN WE HAVE TO REMEMBER THAT WHATEVER GOD ALLOWS TO COME INTO OUR LIVES IS NOT TO TEAR US DOWN, BUT TO BUILD US UP...SPIRITUALLY. PRAYER CHANGES THINGS...HAVING A LITTLE TALK WITH JESUS HELPS AND CAN MAKE ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN THE WORLD...LITERALLY.
