Everything gets better but,
can you leave some things out?
I've got words on my side but,
no one knows what I'm talking about.
Receiving a blank stare,
a formal glare.
An easy way of saying
"We don't like this,
or you,
or what you stand for.
You are nothing,
a no one,
an undefined hack."
I found it hard to swallow but,
easy to spit right back.
This is about hope.
Counter it however you please.
Put it back on the shelf,
relinguish your wealth,
and hope to God it saves your health.
This won't please you,
ease you,
or purify your core.
It'll rip you apart,
go straight for your heart,
and leave you more baffled then before.
You're still starving but,
you'll bargain your life.
I can't take it but,
you can save it.
Start by ending it right.
Where there's stress,
there's a mess,
and a happy disguish.
A mask to cover the lies,
and the tries,
and the tears in your eyes.
Some things get better but,
can everything be left out?
