This is beautiful. I love it when poets turn the ordinary into the extraordinary. And I know what you mean... It's been over a year since my mom's passing, yet when I went home last month, her shoes were on the doorstep... like she'd just gone in, and they were waiting for her. I think Dad left them there because he didn't want to move them. Don't know how long they'll be there either.
....Ah, I'm going on and on when you said it far better already. --Charlie

Amazing! I love the way you saw such beauty in seemingly such simple items. This is like a still life painting. Thank you for sharing your gift, Daniel. Love and peace to you,

What a new, creative way to see muddy boots! This makes me want to sink my bare feet into mud and feel the creative muck seep through my toes! This is a work of art, Mountain Poet Dan!
Mary Angela Nangini's poems celebrate the richness of life and love. From the city to cottage-country and the roads in between, Nangini explores the changing seasons of her varied region. (This book will soon be reprinted in hard cover.)
