This poem is dedicated to couples, to love, cherish and bond in the infinite, timeless vacuum of love

For all the years we’ve been together,

I hate to say you ruffle my feather.

When I ask you for a dance

To rock my world, maybe one last chance

I’m still young in mind and eyes

Even when I can’t shake thighs

The music whispers in my head

Enough to wake the sleep from dead

I recall when dine we would

Lots of laughter and some food!

We danced the Cha-cha and Bachata

My spirit flowed with no matata!

Please hold my hand I beg of thee

And give the world a chance to see

That we have music don’t you agree?

Of sensual styles to third degree

Grab my hand like life on death

Back to when you said “I do”

Like swirling wind and pretty kite

We’ll sway to music and delight
