As the hot sun shines down upon me,

As I sit in back of my parents car

As we travel oh so far

To bring home our little dog Rutsky

Whom we just got at the shelter a few minutes ago

Look everyone can you see

We have a new member of the family!

He’s cute,

He’s the size of Aunt Maggie’s Boot!

He has big brown eyes,

A cute wet nose,

A furry little body

And a squeaky little bark that you can hear from all the way around the block 

Especially, when the clock dings or the alarm rings

Oh, what fun my life is going to be…
