Oh Rocco,

When I saw you in that pet dome,

I knew you were the one I wanted to take home

When I cradled you in my arms for the first time,

I immediately knew you were the doggie for me,

Oh, you could just see,

 You were the perfect pet for me

“Oh mom,”

“Oh mom,”

“Can we please get him please?”

With a little begging

And a lot of kisses

I was able to persuade my mom

To adopt a dog

And off back home

We went with our new little dog Rocco

Now that I have you in my life-

I have everything I could dream of….

A friend to play with

A friend to love,

To Protect

And to care for…

Your heart sings to me with your love

Your licks and kisses cleanse my soul,

As I lie on the couch with my little Rocco in my lap

I feel the warmth of your furry little body pressed against me

As your big brown eyes stare into mine

Our souls bonded as one

Your love fills my soul with happiness

The memories we make each day will stay with me throughout eternity

As I cherish all the fun things,
