ALL ASPECTS OF THIS POEM IS JUST WONDERFUL, LOVED IT FROM BEGINNING TO END! THANKS FOR SHARING, POETESS. LOVE BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
Who but the Poetess of the Heart could write about love and romance
with such sincerity even in the cold and the snow with authenticity and so much warmth. Yum!
There is a mournful tone to this poem with beautiful winter overtones. It could be a metaphor for what it feels like when your man is gone.
I often wonder how the Ojibway and Chippewa lived in my native state of Wisconsin during the winter with frequent weeklong temperatures of -20°F. And I have hunted in the winter. While tracking animals in the snow is easier, and they can be seen easier, animals can also see the hunter coming easier as well, winter is very bleak time for hunting.
The drug called "The Shari" has been used for vision quests over many years. But, when all the rivers start drying up, the tribe must send a young hunter named Tomás on a much more important trip through the Amazon.
