Isn't it amazing that what people of each generation know is often proved wrong by the scientists of the next generation? Yet somehow the human race continues to survive. Then of course there are the people who say that everything we know is wrong but you have to have faith in what can't be proved. Best to keep plugging along doing what seems to be working for us. Food for thought.

Most of astrophysics is interesting mathematical possibilities that only a very few can really get into and come up with any possible conclusions. What I find interesting is that something like black holes that supposedly live not only at the center of each galaxy but also occasionally in space caused by exceedingly massive objects that do not let light escape that alone anything that gets anywhere near.

And of course dark matter, something that theoretically occupies more space than all mass and energy we see. But just like new vision and technologies have made black holes real. So too will they find dark matter.

Parallel universes, on the other hand, are something altogether different. Provide for great writing in science fiction, but it may take Homo sapiens II to figure out how to reach them other than creative people seem to while dreaming.
