Once a bitter literary critic
Tore to bits his own manuscript thick
When asked politely why
He cursed and swore most high
His fans believed it to be some trick
[Even if the ban has been lifted, still DON'T buy "Blind Man's Lantern" plagued by deliberate errors and missing poems.]

Limericks crochetés: Once a bitter literary critic

Once a bitter literary critic
Tore to bits his own manuscript thick
When asked politely why
He cursed and swore most high
His fans believed it to be some trick

For many a year he reigned tyrant
And column in weekly turned virulent
Books by millions sold
His pages manifold
One talked of him at every event

At parties talk-shows subways cocktails
All broke silences with pent-up wails
What could be the matter
What brought on the chatter
What caused the paper to soar in sales?*

*I would like to know. Thanks.

What d'ya mean, "You don't know who this tyrannical critic was?", Monseigneur Don-Ron. Of course, it's all about you and only YOU !
Naaaay! Just kidding you, but the "tyrannical" quality or feature fits you to a "T", though, I must say upon reflection.

So, you have predicted your own FALL, buddy!

Naaay, the critic (in reality, representative of ALL critics) is a composite figure, and I'm not saying it aloud, you may account for more than your fair share in his make-up. Toodle-dee-doo...

I don't have the answer, for I know not who this tyrannical critic was. But even the mighty shall fail.
