When my boy’s were older they grew to be great pals in crime. When one boy thought of it the other boy had already done it. What ever IT may have been.
They had played together as children, growing into young men. `` Pals they would always be,’’ they had said. So when I heard a noise that wasn’t inside the house. I went to my window and discovered why they wanted to sleep in the same room.
There they were together again climbing out of the window as quiet as could be. The only thing is that they had chosen a night that I couldn’t seem to sleep. As I watched my children climbing out and down to the ground. I was trying to not make any sound. Laughter filled my heart as
One boy got stuck and the other tried to help him out.
They were trying to be so quiet and yet they laughed together as they tried to get out. It made my heart full of love for those two young men. Trying to make a place in the world for which they would live.
Apart or together they would always be friends. For they had gotten out of the house together again. But to their surprise a mother had also gotten wise and planted a rose bush at the bottom of that window when the spring was new and everything grew.
Later when they were both young men with families of their own. I had told them the story of the rose bush and two very young men. They had always wondered how that rose bush had appeared. For the last time they had ventured out it wasn’t even near.
So when your boy’s get very chummy look for them to do something oh so funny. As to end up in a rose bush and landing on their tush.

LOL this was a fun read and so heart warming ;-) Reminds me of a trip or two I took out a window, just to watch the pattern repeat itself many years later when I was the mother and it was my daughter climbing out the window! :-) Thanks! Your sneaky LOL.
