Hello everyone. I haven't been on for a while. Things here at home have been really busy. My husband has had cancer but has now been cancer free for 2 years.

He also has COPD and isn't in great shape right now. We have been told to get things together and to do it soon.

I retired from my job early so I can take care of him the best I can. So I have had to get use to not working and doing nursing duties around here. We keep saying that he can't go anywhere until my grandaughter graduates from college.. He keeps asking how long that is and we tell him 8 years.

He keeps trying to make it until then. Our love for him keeps him going. His doctor told me that he has lasted longer than most lung transplant patients. And I tell him that Fred is a strong person and stubborn too.

This is why I haven't written on my blog or written any poetry for so long... maybe soon I will feel like writing more again..
