Update on surgery 10/1/2003 9:57:34 PM
My son had his hip replacement today.
My son had his hip replacement this morning and he is doing fine. I want to thank everyone that gave there prayers to my family during these stressful times.
The surgery only took a little over an hour to preform.
The doctor said that the ball of his femeur was totally gone when they got into it. He said that everything went just fine and now maybe my son can be pain free.( It would be the first time in his 27 years of life.)
He hasn't been up on his leg as of yet but please keep the prayers coming for he has a long 4 months of recovery time yet.
He was in some pain when we left the hospital but they said that is to be expected.
