Sometimes we think that the pain we have is the worst that God has to give. There is different kinds of pain in this world some is physical, mental or a breaking heart.
My son thought the pain he had lived with for most of his life was really bad until he tried to stand on his new hip this morning. Now he knows that there is different kinds of pain.
At 27 years of age he thought he had felt all the pain that God could give. He has had a broken heart a few times in his life. And he had experienced the pain of a bone that went away to nothing. He had said that nothing could hurt worst than that.
But now he knows that surgery, the cutting of your flesh, does hurt in a different way.
He had to get up and try to walk today after his hip replacement. He felt pain in a way he hadn't felt before. It was hard for him but he is willing to go through this pain for soon it will heal and he will feel better.
God gives us certain things in our lives so that we will abide by his plan for us. Sometimes we go through terrible times before we even understand his plan for us. I hope he has a great plan for our family.
