I often wondered if anyone ever read my poetry.
I often wondered if anyone ever read my poetry. I would write what was in my heart or my head at the time. Then wonder if it was any good. It has been said that poets throw out their best work.
I hope to never do this so I write down everything that I think of or write on that napkin. Just in case it is something I might throw out. You never know it could be the best thing that I have ever done and wouldn't you know, I would be the one to throw something like that out in the trash.
It's a good thing we can get reviews on authors den for it does help to have good advice from other authors about our poetry. And yes sometimes I do make mistakes. Like spelling or leaving out a line only to have to put it in again after someone lets me know that something isn't just right.
I wonder if any one ever reads these things too or am I the only one that has the curiosity of a cat.
These are just a few of my thoughts tonight. Now I wonder if this thing even works. Children aren't the only ones that wonder a lot about things. We even wonder like children when we get older. Isn't that strange. To be a child at heart even if your older than your oldest child. I wonder what that means. . . . . . . .
