What a great event.  Vestavia HIlls Mayor, Chief of Police Rary,

Ms. Aliya Moore- a new recuirt and daughter of Dee and Chris Colems, Fire Chief St. John, Vestavia Hills School Board members, American Legion, U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marines, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Air Force were all honored.  Ms. Janice Smith did a great job singing our National Anthem, Homewood JROTC cadets were great.  Many thanks to Papa Johns pizza,  Mr. Mark Noyes Ex. General Mgr of Westin and Sheraton Hotels at BJCC, Krispy Kreme Corp. Headquarters, Chick Fil la, Publix Food Store in Vestavia Hills, Mr. Andre' Watson, Mr. Danny Smith, Mr. Kenneth Douglas Vincent Sr. for stepping up and help sponoring this event.  Your input and help was very welcomed. Mr. Jim Sledge, retired from U.S. Steel, Dr. Ron Gonia, pastor of St. Mark Methodist Church, we thank you so much. 

Everyone had a great time meeting and visiting with our veterans and active military.  Thank you all who have served, who is now serving our country and community.  Special prayers go to all who have fallen in the line of duty. We love you all!!!
