I was speechless when witnessing his birth. I only have one daughter and she’s truly an inspiration in my life. I know that she was my gift from God. God gave to her the most precious gift of her life; a son. I’ve always heard many tales and stories about how babies are birth into the world. My 1st hand experience was fascinating and awesome. I was really stunned to the point of surprise while watching and seeing my daughter dilate from 4 to 9 centimeters in less than 30 minutes. Times have changed since I gave birth, it no longer take hours and hours of labor to have a vaginal birth.  It was such a beautiful miracle from God. Even though my daughter had chosen earlier to have an epidural, she handled her pain very well. Due to monitoring the baby and her blood pressure the epidural had to be given to her quicker than expected. I didn’t have time to become fearful because she was remarkably calm from start to finish. Never feeling overwhelmed at any time in her labor experence. I don’t have the right words to describe her doctor; she was coach, mom, minister and doctor all at the same time. She’s truly the type doctor anyone would like to have while delivering a baby. Giving birth was nothing like I thought it would be. After watching the doctor along with the nurses so patiently give my daughter step by step instructions; they knew exactly when a contraction occurred and advising her to push, push, push. The nurses were so attentive to keep the doctor informed of everything going on in the room. Finally, with the last push, the baby was born! Delivery became a reality. The whole experience was worth seeing my little handsome grandson come into the world.
