WHAT IS Next?

 My first book was published by a start-up, legitimate publisher. But, he was a start-up with the best of intentions. I think he was not experienced in the art of managing a publishing house. Things went from hopeful to really bad in a years time.

Then, along came POD "publishers." Some are good and many are really bad. My experience with a POD was I got exactly what I paid for.

They provided technical and literary services. They put my book in their bookstore, and listed me with Ingram. I didn't expect them to sell many books in their bookstore. And they didn't disappoint me. 

So, what is next for a writer like me? Free-on-line? Kindle? or what . . .
