I will start by saying that I, in no way, consider myself a story-teller. I have the attention span of a five year old which usually makes for pretty horrid stories... pretty horrid anything that takes more than half an hour to write for that matter. But I suppose there are those moments in life that pull us out of our element. This would be just one such moment... so here is my first, rather pathetic, attempt at writing outside the poem. Short but heartfelt.
You write very well. At this point this reads more like an essay than a story, but it's very good and an excellent story could be fleshed out of the details here. // Fine writing!
