During a book signing for the introduction of Hugs and kisses There was a young lady that approached me and stated the issues she was dealing with in this subject. We had a great conversation and I learned much that made my heart full with sympathy and it was just one more reason I felt pleased that God had blessed me to write this short story. She now has a tool that can she can use to help her children and herself with a crippling issue that plauge our children and destroy families world wide. A second encounter happened with a service provider who came to service a water issue in my home just recently. Upon talking with this person it was revealed how sexual abuse has been ongoing in their family for two "two" generations!! People I can't stress enough how important it is for us to educate our children as well as yourselves in this horrible,painful and shameful ordeal. I gave this person a copy of Hugs and Kisses before they left for the day. Upon returning to complete their work in my home they stated how the story touched them and they found the Q&A section very relaxing for them when it came to reading it to the children, because it brought the issue to the table with them and they are now taking steps to recovery and healing. Again this is what makes my heart pleased. To know what I have done can help a person, a child in a major way is more filling for my soul than any material gain. Our children are the most precious jewels and blessings. Please help save them from such a horrific crime. They can't do it alone!
