     original

The car sped by everyone as it did, people got out of
the way,the car wouldn't stop,driving it was a small
Groundhog, her name was Winnie she was looking
for her husband Willie who didn't come home after
his job when he was suppose to pop up out of the
hole before everyone and let them know if his own
shadow told them winter was over or there would
be six months more of winter.

No one ever saw him .

She looked around in his usualhideouts as he call
them to get away from her, was a movie theater
which currently was showing Groundhog Day,his
favorite movie, then the local Bowling Alley called
the Hog Wild ,then his favorite golf course he hung
out at,and then one other place he was at .

And there he was, sitting at the ninth hole waiting
for the next golf ball to fly down next to him, as in
fact they did he would swat his tail and hit the golf
balls in the other direction,no one ever saw him he
would hide again, but this time she saw him.

She pulled the car up to her husband grab him as
a mob of people saw them and were running tow-
ards them, angry at him .' Thankyou .'

' Don't thank me your lucky I don't leave you,when
we home we need to talk, right now just sit back in
fact and shuddup, this thing is not easy to drive .'

' I never said a DeSoto would be easy too drive,' he
told her,' I just bought it because it was all the money
I had . ' he shook his head .

' Shuddup .'
