Sally looked up and smiled it was morning after all
she must had slept through the night and  through,
in fact the most important night of any girls  youth,
the prom ,her date must had been angry .

It was Saturday at least but she knew Monday that
she would hear about how she didn't show up or to
that she was scared or back down from her dating
Avery,the football Captain,though that was far from
the truth too she knew that .

Between school,home chores and her mother it was
not easy being the daughter of eight children but her
only escape was either sleep or riding a horse that in
fact her father bought her last year before he left them
all. And true to form to minute she woke her the eldest
daughter Samantha already to on her case about since
it was Saturday she could to help also with the chores
especially the farming and taking care of her horse .

 The farm was both her parents idea since they plan on
a big family anyways and that they needed the space to.

' Breakfast first,' their mother said and they sat around the
kitchen table,the table covered with cloth,since of the chil-
dren of eight was only one years old and still spitting up his
food,he laughed about it only her mother thught it was funny
too,but no one else did .

' After breakfast go ride that horse of yours get it some exer-
cise but then don't take all day to then help  your sisters with
chores,' said her mother as they finished eating .She got too
her feet,went out to the barn and got Debbie ready,her horse .

' Alright Debbie,' she smiled climbing onto the horse and then
smiling,turning she heard her oldest sister yelling don't be all
day on that horse,we need you too .' she said .

Not looking back Sally rode her horse along the beautiful and
yet quiet countryside,she then  thought as she often did what
it would be like not to have any brothers or sisters,to be an in
fact ,only child,but she knew that was wishful thinking or just
plain dreaming .She tried to stay in the realm of reality .

Suddenly something happened,Debbie stopped suddenly and
wanted to turn around,then right before them was a rattlesn-
ake,it started to scare both of them,but Debbie more,she then
started to buck and tried to get Sally off her back.

She did and as Sally fell she hit her head and was unconscious
while the horse started back too the farm, naturally on instinct ,
Sally began drifting in and out of reality,she open her eyes and
was standing in front of a crowd on a platform,wearing a white
wedding dress,she was at the prom and they just got done with
the first dance,they were going to announce the king and queen
of this year's dance .

' And to the prom queen.Sally Westward has won .' There was a
lot of clapping and cheering as someone put a crown on her head
and suddenly she was given roses .Sallt turned and saw Avery in
fact he was voted prom king .

' The happiest day of my life,' Sally told herself .
