Amber hated this but it was her job
she asked too be doing something
and living on a farm one usually gets
what one ask for .

Amber had to clean up messes after
the horses went to the bathroom it
was her choice after all, she wanted
to visit her family and brothers here
at least they had the harder jobs like
plowing and picking the fields .

Life on the farm did not end until the
jobs were done to just to be crude to
Amber they made up jobs for her to
do, like gutter cleaning or walking the
dog .

Finally it was nine o'clock, usually in
fact unlike most families a family on
the farm starts with the sun and ends
with it too.

But better then her mother who drank
constantly and threw things

She didn't mind the work, at least not
yet anyway,as she was sleeping her
brothers were plotting more for her to
do, while her father had another hour
of work to do, the brothers were then
studying for homework.

This was when Amber felt she could
relax and be alone and she enjoyed
that until she put her head on her pillow
and suddenly felt something there .

' Jello,' she screamed and in another
room the brothers laughed.

' I guess she found the jello,' smiled
the oldest brother Tod as he opened
his math book and started reading .

end
