     original

The island was there indeed enveloped  by the mist too.
Now if reports hold true a huge wall should be seen as
we near the island.a wall completely surrounding the
island,a wall either keeping something in or something
out .

Thats where the legend stars, who built the wall.this just
reminded me of the story of King Kong, where the natives
had built a giant wall to keep the giant ape from getting
to them, but this was different,if legends were true there
was something so scary even the giant ape would tuck
tail and run.

What could be so terrifying on the island? Or maybe off
the island perhaps. The ship got closer and our nerves
got worse.

' Ahead slow, lieutenant,'ordered the Captain as lieute-
nant Craig steered the ship.

' The island should be in view soon.'

On the island even the birds native to the island were
quiet,no sound could be heard,an errie silence fell in
fact over the island now .

They waited .The white men were coming again and
the natives made sure everything was ready .

Even their young help, making sure they were having
the right paint on their faces sharpening their knives
and making sure the fires were burning, the one thing
threy knew that it didn't like was fire

' Sewede ,can you see them?' asked their leader who
spoke english as he was taught by the last white men
that came to the island,he smiled, they tasted rather
good he thought remembering how they fought not in
fact wanting to go in the boiling pot .

Sewede who was the only brave one to climb the wall
stood at its highest point and through the mist he saw
the ship, the white men's ship.

' Yes leader, they are here, just coming to the island now
and its just like the last one .'

That put a smile on the leader's face .
